Jessica married film producer Cash Warren in a private ceremony in May 2008, after dating for three years. The pair welcomed their first child, daughter Honor Marie Warren, in June, 2008.

She didn't get the acting gene from her father. He was in the Air Force, but Jessica knew from a young age she wanted to be an actress (and younger brother Josh has followed suit).
At 12, she entered an acting competition and won free acting classes. Within a year, she had an agent and her first film role, in the family comedy Camp Nowhere.
A number of TV appearances followed, including the lead role in the series Flipper, which was filmed in Australia. But it was the role she landed three years after that secured her status as a rising star. |

Beating out 1200 other girls for the part, Jessica scored the role of genetically enhanced super-soldier Max Guevara in the TV series Dark Angel. As well as making her a household name, the show earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in 2001.
She has since made the leap into movies, starring in films like Honey, Fantastic Four and Sin City.
Her stunning looks also led to some lucrative beauty contracts, first with L'Oréal and now Revlon.

Seven months after officially marrying in an LA courthouse with just one witness, and six months after their daughter Honor Marie was born in June, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren held a belated wedding reception for their close friends and family at their Beverly Hills mansion. Little Honor dressed for the occasion, wearing little angel wings, and a mariachi band played after the fathers' speeches.
