Ange's new feud

Angelina Jolie has never been known as a girl’s girl – but now it seems she has struck up a rivalry with none other than George Clooney’s latest lady, Stacy Keibler!

George, 50, who is a longtime best friend of Angelina’s partner, Brad Pitt, has joked that the foursome aren’t exactly hanging out together in their spare time.

‘Well, we haven’t actually double dated with Brad and Angelina,’ he teased at a red carpet event in January, while a smiling Stacy, who was on his arm, kept tellingly silent on the terse subject.

Stacy, who’s bonded with George’s other close friends – Cindy Crawford, 45, and her husband, Rande Gerber, 48 on a holiday in Cabo San Lucas – reportedly fired up the clash between her and Ange when she made a seemingly innocent comment about Brad Pitt’s good looks.

The 32-year-old playfully tweeted, ‘Brad Pitt wouldn’t be bad to look at every day.’ Angelina was not amused!

In fact, according to reports, Ange then snubbed Stacy during a plane trip from LA to Palm Springs earlier this month, when Ange and Brad, 48, hitched a ride with George and Stacy on their private jet.

‘Angelina refused to acknowledge that Stacy was even on the plane,’ says a source. ‘Ange went out of her way to ignore her, from take-off to landing – she would not even look Stacy’s way.’

It seems the two women might have rather different personalities. George’s bubbly girlfriend of six months has been described by her ex-boyfriend, actor Geoff Stults, as ‘the kind of girl that people want to hang out with’, while Angelina isn’t so keen on extending any invitations to the former WWE wrestler… or any female friends, in fact.
