The Gossip Girl star opens up about her past relationships
Blake Lively has revealed that she has only ever had ‘four boyfriends’ and has never been on a real date.
The 24-year-old
Gossip Girl star romanced her onscreen love interest Penn Badgley, 25, for three years before they split in 2010. She then went on to strike up a short-lived relationship with Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio, 37.
Blake, who is now involved with her
Green Lantern co-star Ryan Reynolds, 35, has admitted she is not a fan of casual dating and wouldn't sleep with a man outside of a relationship.
She tells
Elle magazine, ‘I've had four boyfriends in my whole life. I've never been with anyone that's not a boyfriend. I didn't have a boyfriend until I was 17... I've never gone on a date. Maybe I'm too shy. If I've ever had a man in my life, it's because I know him well, and he really means something to me. I don't take that stuff lightly.
‘I'd rather be by myself than be spending any time or energy on somebody that I didn't feel sure about.’
