The couple sets a new sales record!
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux placed the $450,000 winning bid on a painting at a charity auction last week.
The abstract work,
Stranger #44 by Glenn Ligon, was estimated to fetch between $150,000 to $200,000 – but Jen, 42, and Justin, 40, bid big at the Christie's auction in New York, setting a new sales record for a painting by the American conceptual artist.
Jen's pal Ben Stiller helped organise the Artists for Haiti fundraiser, which pulled in $13.6 million for health and education initiatives in the earthquake-ravaged Caribbean country.
