Kylie Minogue isn’t quitting music

Aussie pop star Kylie Minogue has swiftly denied claims she is quitting music for good in order to pursue a career in acting.

The 44-year-old singer recently parted ways from her longtime manager, Terry Blamey, after a partnership of more than 25 years, sparking reports that the move was part of plans to give up her singing career.

However, Kylie, who began her career as a child actress in Australia before landing a role in soap opera Neighbours, has now insisted she isn't giving up on music. ‘Not quitting,’ she responded in a post on her Twitter page.

A statement from Terry reads, ‘Kylie has decided to pull back slightly from the pressures of her career and devote more time to herself and her acting career. This is not to say she will be retiring from music, just taking a bit of a break.’
